Job requirements

About the position:

As our Head Of Marketing (m/f/d) your goal is to guide us in how to implement successful marketing strategies, strengthen our communication as well as laying the foundation to build the team in close collaboration with the Founders. Your main tasks will include:

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop the brand value proposition, set the creative campaign strategy and develop and execute ideas for growth strategies.

  • Brand: You define, own the brand and communication. You are the first point of contact in the company for marketing and communications strategy questions and initiatives

  • Campaign Excellence: You are continuously optimizing campaigns with performance marketing best practices and provide creative leadership for all marketing executions

  • Student Enrollment: You are responsible for helping us create and refine our target audience, and to identify, produce or adapt marketing assets and thought leadership to drive student enrollment

  • Data Driven Learning / Performance Marketing: You will create a strong reporting and success measurement system across marketing initiatives. Obsessed about performance KPIs (NEW students: cost per lead, cost per application, cost per start/enrollment, SEO metrics, website traffic, etc) + (CONTINUING students: persistence rate, NPS, placement, etc) + (BRAND: brand awareness (aided + non-aided, brand consideration, top choice)

  • Communication and Events: You will create an effective brand marketing strategy to establish the Tomorrow’s Education brand externally, leveraging PR, Events, Social Media, Google rankings, blog visibility with thought leadership and compelling content 

  • Product Management: understand market landscape, competitors, price analysis, new programs roadmap (new sources of growth)

  • Team Leadership: You will help build, develop and lead a team focused on creating world class content and marketing campaigns

Your profile:
  • You have several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility in a startup environment, including at least 3 years of management experience.

  • Experience working in the education sector is a plus

  • You have a strong history in creating marketing content and campaigns from scratch and scaling them for new products

  • You have managed agency relationships for PR or Communications to achieve outstanding regional and international media engagement

  • You have strong analytical skills and know how to optimize a marketing engagement funnel

  • You have proven experience in managing, developing, and scaling marketing teams

  • You have awesome communication skills with fluency in English (German a plus).

  • You bring a hands-on mentality - and the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get things done in an early-stage environment.
  • You have a high energy level, are eager to learn, technically minded, data driven and you enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Creative - think outside of the box and look for new industries benchmarks
